Staffing Norms for WiLL Services :

    1.0   Service Centre:

 Sr.TOA

If expected number of new connections per year are < 5000, existing setup ( Commercial setup, existing staff) to be used.

 

For more than 5000 connections up to 10000 new connections per year 1 Sr.TOA reporting to existing Commercial officer ( thereafter, 1 Sr.TOA @ 10000 new connections pe year.)

 Sr.TOA ( Complaints)

Less than 10000, existing setup to be used. 1 Sr. TOA when subscriber base increase beyond 10000 up to 50000.Beyond 50000, addl. Sr. TOA for up to 100000 connections.

  Telecom Mechanic

1 Telecom Mechanic for installation and maintenance of every 1000 FWTs reporting to existing SDE Outdoor. TM should be provided motorized transport.

  DET/SDE at Circle /SSA level.

1 DE at Circle level and 1 SDE at SSA level for managing and monitoring performance of service centre, centralised call center and dealers if any.

   2.0 Staffing norms for BSC:

  2.1              For BSC based system that is connected to Local Exchange ( Non-Switch based system)

1 post per BSC

    SDE / JTO (Indoor WiLL)

For up to 10000 lines:

1 SDE + 3 JTOs per BSC for indoor BSC maintenance

For > 10000 up to 20000:

 1 additional JTO in general shift..

 

   2.2  For BSC based system that is NOT connected to Local Exchange ( Switch based MSC type system)

1 DE, 2 SDEs and 6 JTOs for round the clock manning, operation and maintenance.

 

  3.0 BTS maintenenance

1 post per 10 BTSs provided that they are in 7 Km radius.

If there are less than 10 BTSs in 7 Km radius , then 1 post per 10 Km. . However each JTO must manage atleast 3 BTS towers however far they may be.

 

  3.0 Staffing norms for Rural areas.

1 post for each BTS for installation and maintenance of solar panel/patch.

   Group D

1 Group ‘D’ per BTS with living arrangements for safety and diesel refilling
